PURPOSE:To correct character data at need and facilitate correction into an easy-to-read document by distinctively displaying document data once it is decided that the document data are character data of common-use external KANJI (Chinese character) or KANJI of the 2nd JIS level. CONSTITUTION:When a user specifies the KANA (Japanese syllabary)-KANJI conversion of character data or at the timing of the conversion, a control part 1 performs the KANA-KANJI conversion by referring to a dictionary part 6, a common-use KANJI table 5, and other tables, etc., and stores conversion results in a homonym buffer 7c. Then the stored 1st conversion candidate and other candidates are displayed on a display 2 and can be selected by key operation on a keyboard 3. When a homonym is selected, the selected word is stored in a learning buffer 7b and determined document data are copied to a document. |
