PURPOSE:To ease an unpleasant feeling due to a noise when a facsimile equipment is operated by exactly allowing users including a waiter to know that the facsimile equipment is operated by appealing to their sense of hearing. CONSTITUTION:A melody ON/OFF is set from an operating port 2 by the selection of the user, and a sound synthesizing LSI circuit 5 is operated/stopped by using a CCITT transmission sequence signal. Thus, the melody indicating that the facsimile equipment is operated is automatically started, and the melody is turned OFF when the facsimile equipment is stopped. |
