PURPOSE:To exactly collate the printed-out result with a reference pattern without loading any burden to a tester by picking up the images of the reference pattern and a pattern to be tested with plural video cameras and optically overlapping the picked-up images in different colors. CONSTITUTION:A reference pattern 2 printed on paper and a pattern 3 to be tested are respectively photographed by two white-and-black video cameras 1, and the respective patterns are plotted through a video amplifier 4 onto another CRT 5 in different colors. Those patterns are synthetically displayed through a half mirror 6. Then, the positions are matched by adjusting the longitudinal side, lateral side and angle of the paper, on which the reference pattern 2 or the pattern 3 to be tested is printed, or the video cameras 1. Thus, since the part in which the reference pattern 2 and the pattern 3 to be tested are coincident is displayed in the synthesized color and the parts of non-coincidence are displayed in the respectively different colors, the tester can easily collate the reference pattern with the pattern to be tested. |
