<p>PURPOSE:To provide an identification information control unit which issues and collates a certificate. CONSTITUTION:When a person who receives the certificate fills necessary items in an application form, hands it, and stands in front of a camera, a certificate issuing device A issues the certificate 10 which has the certificate items and a face photograph by image processing printed on certificate base paper 6. A transponder is incorporated in the certificate paper base 6 and identification information is written. A host computer B stores identification information consisting of certificate information and image data in relation with the identification information. A collating device D reads the identification information out of the certificate 10 that a user has through manual operation, obtains identification information corresponding to the read identification information from the host computer B through a communication device C, and displays the certificate items and face photograph by image processing. Consequently, it can be confirmed whether or not the user who has the certificate is the very person, and prevention against the forging of a certificate and its detection are facilitated.</p> |
