<p>PURPOSE:To switch the detection range of a human body detecting device with a simple action by providing an adjusting means adjusting the interval with a window section provided in front of a human body detecting means and adjusting the detection range of the human body detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An infrared sensor 1 detects the presence of a human body within the desired range, and it is fixed to a sensor base 2. A moving plate 4 has a window section 5 and a rack 6, the rack 6 is engaged with a pinion 8 provided on a selector switch 7, and the moving plate 4 is slid in the direction of an arrow C or D along a shaft 9 when the selector switch 7 is operated in the direction of an arrow A or B. The detection range of the infrared sensor 1 is set by the arranged position of the window section 5. When the selector switch 7 is operated in the direction of the arrow A, for example, a switch side contact 10 is brought into contact with a circuit side contact 11, the moving plate 4 is moved in the direction of the arrow C, thus the detection range of the infrared sensor 1 is widened.</p> |
