The device for groundwater drainage consists of a geotextile fibre centre part (4), its faces covered with a layer of filter material whose fibres are more porous than the centre, and a water collector (2) at the bottom. The three layers are closely interconnected forming a composite body. The fibres are different lengths and cross-section and are sewn together alternately. A metal heat conductor forms the fourth layer transferring heat between top (1a) and bottom (1b) creating thermodynamic effect, preventing ice forming in winter specially during times of thaw. USE/ADVANTAGES - Improved design, flexible construction more adaptable to ground contours.
