CONTRACTING DEVICE NAME AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE NAME CONVERSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent misconversion by automating conversion from a contracting device name to a manufacturing device name. CONSTITUTION:A contracting device name file 3 contains contracting device name information inputted by a contacting device name input program when a contract with a customer is made. A manufacturing device name conversion file 6 contains contracting device names and manufacturing device conversion information for converting the contracting device names into manufacturing device names so that they are made to correspond to each other. A manufacturing device name conversion program 12 converts the contracting device name and option devices corresponding to the customer into the manufacturing device name according to the contracting device name information in the contracting device name file 3 and the manufacturing device conversion information in the manufacturing device name conversion file 6 and stores it in a manufacturing device name file 4 when the manufacturing period of the device based upon the contract with the customer comes.
