PURPOSE:To improve practicalness by temporarily interrupting the execution of an application program whenever an interruption signal is inputted and executing an interruption processing task which is registered in a task registering part. CONSTITUTION:CPU 1 monitors the interruption signal INT from a timer controller 2 while executing the application program. When the input of the interruption signal INT is detected, the execution of the application program is temporarily interrupted. Then, a jump is executed to a routine indicated by a timer controller interruption vector M which is registered in the head address of an interruption vector table, that is, to the interruption processing routine of a device driver so that interruption is processed. Therefore, whenever the interruption signal INT which is periodically generated by a fixed interval from the timer controller 2 is supplied to CPU 1, the execution of the application program is temporarily interrupted and a task registered in a task register area is successively executed one by one. |
