PURPOSE:To increase the facilities for handling by discriminating whether the counter value of a counter is zero or not by a control means to which a key signal is outputted and displaying password number or the like by an output means. CONSTITUTION:When '4' of password number '1234' is inputted from ten key of an input means 100, the key signal from the input means 100 is outputted to a control means 101, and the control means 101 discriminates whether the counter value of a counter 102 is zero or not. Since it is not zero in this case, the received key signal is stored in a storage means 103. Thereafter, it is discriminated whether the counter value of the counter 102 is the total number of digits of the password number, namely, four or not; and since the counter value is four in this case, the inputted password number is compared with the preliminarily set password number stored in the storage means 103, and lock is released in the case of coincidence, but the counter value of the counter 102 and the inputted password number stored in the storage means 103 are cleared in the case of noncoincidence. |
