PURPOSE:To simply apply scaling processing to an optional area with an optional scale factor by detecting a scaling processing area and a scaling size designated on an original picture by a color marker. CONSTITUTION:The operator designates the scaling processing area by surrounding an area on an original so as to be a closed loop by a color marker to designate a scaling processing area and designates the scale factor of the scaling processing area with other color marker so that another closed loop surrounds the closed loop for designating the processing area. When an original is set to a color copying machine and the operator allows the copying machine to read the original while selecting the double marker scaling mode, a marker area processing circuit at the preliminary scanning detects closed loops indicating respectively the scaling processing area A and the scaling size B respectively through color discrimination distinguishingly. Then the scaling processing area and the scaling size are recognized in response to the detection above and the partial scaling processing in response to the designation of the color marker is executed at the main scanning based on the recognition above. |
