PURPOSE:To freely attain the performance expression intended by a player by generating and controlling musical sounds of a designated pitch based on the sense signal outputted from a depressing force sensing means. CONSTITUTION:Plural frets 12 are fixed at prescribed intervals on a finger board of a stringed instrument, and fret switches 16 and 17 consisting of plural piezoelectric elements are buried like a matrix between frets 12 in a neck 2 correspondingly to each string 4. Fret switches 16 and 17 are provided to detect the fret operation position of each string 4 and the pressing force of the string 4; and when the string 4 is pressed to the finger board 8, the electric resistance of fret switches 16 and 17 provided under the pressing position is changed in accordance with the pressing force, and the output voltage of a pressure sensor is changed by this change. When the output voltage exceeds a prescribed value, the pitch corresponding to the fret operation position of the string 4 is designated. |
