PURPOSE:To provide the electronic stringed instrument which gives an effect only with string touch operation without an influence upon the performance operation, the performance technique, and the performance form. CONSTITUTION:If the discrimination result in a step SA30 is negative, it is detected that a pertinent string is touched in the down direction, and the algorithm and the coefficient on the down side of the data area designated by a program switch and string NO.n are transferred to a DSP in this case (step SA31). If it is positive, it is detected that the pertinent string is touched in the up direction, and those on the up side of the data area designated by the program switch and string NO.n are transferred to the DSP in this case (step SA33). Consequently, the DSP executes the effect processing in accordance with transferred algorithm and coefficient on the down or up side, thereby giving the effect different by string touch to the down side and that to the up side. |
