<p>PURPOSE: To connect and cut off repeatedly by providing dimples of conductor termination portions on which recessed and protruded combinable surfaces are formed, and combining conductors electrically. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector assembly 10 comprises one pair of flat flexible cables 12, 14, and the cables 12, 14 are equipped with base bodies 16, 18 of dielectric material. The base bodies 16, 18 are provided with plural copper conductors 20, 22 coated by protection insulation layers 24, 26, and the conductors 20, 22 have termination portions to be terminated so as to be combinable. A dimple 38 is formed on the exposed termination portion 34 on the exposed portion 32 of the cable 12, and the protruded portion 42 of the dimple 38 is matched with the recessed portion 44 of a dimple 36 so as to be combined. Then an elastic pad is thrust to the cable 2, and the dimple 36 of the cable 12 can be elastically thrust to the dimple 38 of the cable 14. Therefore, the assembly 10 can be repeatedly assembled and disassembled, and can be reused for connecting and cutting off.</p> |
