Awning with temporary adhesive on arched sections - allows correct positioning of sheeting before fixing with staples

The awning has a layer of sheeting stretched over a framework made of several arched sections joined at either side. Several of these arched sections (8) have a thin external wall (4b) covered with a temporary adhesive (30) to hold a layer of sheeting in place. This is then fixed to the arched section by a number of staples (40) which go through the sheeting (14), the adhesive and the thin external wall of the section. A staple cover can also be used to hide the staples. The adhesive enables correct positioning of the sheeting before stapling.
