<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a soft tone quality of the middle between the tone quality obtained from a resonance barrel made of FRP and that obtained from a resonance barrel made of wood and to reduce the weight by giving the peripheral surface of the resonance barrel the structure where an FRP layer and a wood chip layer are alternately laminated. CONSTITUTION:The structure where an FRP layer 11 and a wood chip layer 12 are alternately laminated in the thickness direction of a resonance barrel 10 is given to the peripheral surface of the resonance barrel 10 throughout in the peripheral direction or the lengthwise direction. Glass carbon fibers are impregnated with a synthetic resin and are hardened to obtain the FRP layer 11, and wood chips are coupled by the resin of the FRP layer 11 to obtain the wood chip layer 12, and the wood chip layer 12 is joined to the FRP 11 into one body. The resonance barrel 10 has the FRP layer 11 and the wood chip layer 12 alternately laminated and has the outside surface formed by the FRP layer 11 of the outermost layer and is painted. Thus, the soft tone quality is obtained, and a sufficient strength is obtained, and the weight is reduced.</p> |
