PURPOSE:To enlarge a dot image without increasing the kind of the dot image by switching the dot image read out through a first, a third data buses and supplying it to a second data bus. CONSTITUTION:The first data bus 2 in 16 bits width is connected to a font ROM 1, and the second data bus 4 in 32 bits width is connected to a CPU 3. When enlargement in the dot image is instructed a buffer 5 for switching bus and data buffers 6, 8 are controlled by a control part 9. That is, the buffer 5 for switching bus is controlled so that the second data bus 4 is divided into an odd number bit side and an even number bit side, and the first data bus 2 and the third data bus 7 are connected to the second data bus 4. The dot image read out from the font ROM 1 whose width is doubled, and is supplied to the CPU 3. Thus, the dot image is enlarged without software processing. |
