PURPOSE:To increase the contact point between a support hole inner circumferential surface and an xenon lamp by the arrangement of set small screws to hold the xenon lamp by a heat sink, and improve electric conductivity, heat conductivity, and holding stability. CONSTITUTION:A heat sink 2 has a support hole 3 corresponding to the external electrode 22 of an xenon lamp 20. The support hole 3 has a radial slit groove 5, at least one notched groove 5 notched with a partial connecting part being left, and a fastening means 9. A plurality of set small screws 8 extending through the heat sink 2 in the radial direction of the support hole 3 and having top end parts 8a facing the inner circumferential surface are arranged. The external electrode of the xenon lamp 20 is inserted to the support hole 3, and the xenon lamp 20 is held by the fastening by the fastening means and fastening by the set small screws 8. |
