PURPOSE:To provide the document preparing device and display control method which easily and speedily perform the equal allocation of a desired character string in an optional range and are improved in operability. CONSTITUTION:A system is placed in equal allocation mode in response to the depression of an 'equal allocation' key 44c, and character string information positioned in a specified range is equally allocated and outputted in plural different states within the range on a display device 50 by referring to specific equal allocation logic stored in an equal allocation logical area 20d according to start position information stored in an equal allocation range start point position information area 30d and end point position information stored in an equal allocation range end point position information area 30e. |
