PURPOSE:To enable even a beginner to input a Japanese sentence while evading the problem of KANA(Japanese syllabary)-KANJI(Chinese character) conversion, etc., by easily displaying a target word in a dictionary with easy key operation, and determining the word with a determination key and inputting a document. CONSTITUTION:The document input device 6 consists of input devices 7a-7d indicating which word is displayed so as to select the word, a RAM, a ROM, a CPU controlling the whole device, and a display device 50. While the skip quantity of words read out of the ROM is set by operating a mode change key 7c, a forward movement key 7a or backward movement key 7b is operated and then the words are read out of the ROM in order and displayed at the cursor 50a on the display device 50. When a desired word is displayed, the word displayed at the cursor 50a is determined with a determination key 7d. The cursor 50a to the right side and displayed on its left side, thereby facilitating the input of the document. |
