PURPOSE:To appropriately confront a photoelectric conversion element with an optical cable in a shielded state by housing a shield case in which the element is housed in a receptacle, and confronting an optical plug with the element at the lighting port of the case. CONSTITUTION:The shield case 12 formed in sheet metallic working structured casing is provided with the lighting port 12h in the center part of the front side plate of the case, and a shield terminal 12i is formed by extending a part of the front side plate. Also, an element insertion port is formed by providing an aperture in a direction intersecting orthogonally to the axis of the optical plug 14 on one side plane, and the photoelectric conversion element 11 is closely loaded on an element housing room. At this time, the electrical terminal 11c of the photoelectric conversion element 11 is protruded to the outside via the element insertion port. The shield case 12 on which the photoelectric conversion element 11 is loaded is inputted with pressure to the case housing room 13a of the receptacle 13, then, the optical plug 14 inserted to the receptacle 13 via the lighting port 12h of the shield case 12 is confronted with the photoelectric conversion element 11. At this time, the lower terminal of the shield terminal 12i and that of the electrical terminal 11c are protruded to the outside, and they are connected to a wiring board. |
