IMPEDANCE MATCHING AND BIAS SUPPLY NETWORK

PURPOSE: To provide an improved impedance matching and bias supply network for a transmission/reception module element of a phased array antenna which is to be controlled electrically. CONSTITUTION: This impedance matching and bias supply network 16 for interfacing a low-noise amplifier 20 of a receiver section 10 of a phased array antenna controlled electrically includes an inductor and capacitor circuit network for impedance conversion and a gate bias pass is provided to a low-noise amplifier via inductors 48, 50 at a branch of a 50 ohm input side of the network so as to substantially reduce the receiver noise figure.
