<p>PURPOSE:To detect occupied seat state in a guest/passenger room, attain the comfortable environmental control suitable for the people present in the room, save energy, and reduce the work load of attendants in the control method for controlling the devices sensing the presence of people seated on seats, the occupied seat information based on them, and the thermal environment and air quality environment in the room based on the occupied seat information. CONSTITUTION:A sensor section 2 detecting the body motion is provided on a seat 1, and the occupied seat information is transmitted to a controller via a signal line 3. The sensor section 2 is buried in the seat section or a backrest section of the seat 1, it is constituted of a body motion sensor, it senses the body motion of a person seated on the seat 1 to detect the occupied seat state, and it outputs the occupied seat state as the information signal. The occupied seat state of all seats 1 is judged, the environmental control matched with the occupied seat state is attained, the space is kept at the optimum temperature, and the comfortable dwelling space can be provided.</p> |
