<p>PURPOSE:To realize the safe operation of a vehicle by providing a means for cutting off the transmission of data to an external input/output means from a vehicle running data storage means in the case a car speed is not zero. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 2 executes initialization for recording in accordance with a processing procedure stored in a ROM 3, calculates the car speed by measuring a signal from a car speed sensor 7 by an interruption processing and decides whether the car speed is higher than zero or not. When it is higher, that is, in the course of running, a communication interruption to an electronic notebook 10 is not permitted, and based on signals from sensors 7, 8, sampling of data of a car speed and an engine rotation is executed, and the data subjected to sampling is recorded in a RAM 4 and returned. On the other hand, in the case the car speed is zero, the communication interruption to the electronic notebook 10 is permitted. When the communication interruption is permitted, the interruption is generated by the operation of a communication shaft with the electronic notebook 10 and when a command from the electronic notebook 10 is a data command for receiving data from an on-vehicle device 1 by the electronic notebook 10 side, operation data are transmitted to the electronic notebook 10.</p> |
