A mixer for continuously fed liquids etc. has a round stator containing a rotor with at least one mixing feature viz at least one type of groove and at least one other groove, both types of groove running approx. longitudinally; each first type groove is closed off at one end to form an input pocket with the stator; each second type groove is closed off at the starting end to form an outflow pocket with the i.d. of the stator. Each first type groove is connected to an adjacent second type groove through a system of flow passages which has at least one opening at an angle to the groove.
