Multiple circuit vehicle braking system - uses series of safety valves in brake lines containing pressure sensors

The vehicle braking system has at least two braking circuit lines (10,12,14) each containing a safety valve (56,58,60) and subject to a control element (132). The safety valves remain in the open position when equality of pressure prevails. A pressure balance necessary to open a safety valve after closure is provided downstream by a flow throttle (18,19,20). After switching off the brake fluid feed the brake fluid pressure reservoirs (72,102,124) are connected to each other via the throttles. Pressure sensors (74,106,126) are fitted in the brake lines. USE/ADVANTAGE - Space saving multicircuit vehicle braking system where with a defect or leak in one circuit the remaining circuit or circuits remains or remain functional.
