Rotary piston engine assembly - uses eight-section seat control rod working with curved disc

The engine is of rotary piston type. The control of the piston seats is achieved by an articulated seat rod (17). The rod consists of eight linked pieces working with a curved disc (16) and a carrier disc rotationally fixed to the shaft (12). The curved disc is firmly mounted in the ring cylinder (10) but arranged to be slightly radially adjustable. The degree of steepness of the curve is made according to the required operating conditions. USE/ADVANTAGE - Rotary piston engine of very compact construction requires fewer parts, which are simple to make.
