A powered lawn mower (11) of the type particularly adapted for mowing greens on golf courses and having a powered vertically adjustable reel cutting unit (11) which is converted into a greensroller (10) when a vibratory roller unit (32) is substituted for each reel cutting unit (11). The vibratory roller unit (32) has a drum (34), an unbalanced shaft (36) and a framework (38). The drum (34) is rotatably mounted in the framework (38). When the greensroller (10) is powered over a golf green, it provides a fast, smooth, consistent and somewhat firm playing surface without scalping or otherwise compromising the health of the grass. |
