A releasable fastener having a first fastener part (1) carrying a tongue (2) with a toothed edge (3), and a second fastener part (4) having a socket (6) for the tongue. The socket (6) at an edge thereof has a rotatable worm drive screw (7) positioned so that threads on the screw may engage teeth on the tongue when the tongue has been inserted in the socket (6). This forms an easily secured fastener for a watch bracelet and the screw may be moved whenever necessary to adjust tightness of the bracelet. |
