<p>A slide actuated holding clamp (10) for holding a connector block (28) stationary while a push test is performed on a conductor (32) secured to the connector (28). The clamp (10) comprises a body portion (12) having a bore (34) extending longitudinally therethrough and a portion forming a channel (36). A locking member (14) is pivotally disposed within the channel (36) and includes a locking finger portion (40) and a lower shoulder portion (46). An actuating member (16) is slidably disposed within the channel (36) and includes a pin member (50) extending transversely therethrough which causes the locking member (14) to move pivotally such that the locking finger portion (40) is moved outwardly of the channel (36) when the actuating member (16) is moved in a first direction.</p> |
