Reinforcing connector between reinforced-concrete components

The connector joins a first reinforced-concrete component to a second one poured subsequently.It comprises a series of parallel bars (1) joined together by one or more transverse ones (3, 4). The first bars (1) protrude from the first reinforced-concrete component (5), and end in bent-over portions (6), typically hooks, or eyes bent right back to the bars, and int he same plane. The bars themselves can be joined together by a cross-member at the eyes etc.
