A remedy for biotoxin type bacterial intestinal infectious diseases containing an active ingredient comprising at least one crude drug selected from the group consisting of rhubarb, cinnamon bark, coptis rhizome and ephedra herb, extracts of these drugs, Chinese medicines containing them as the ingredient, or extracts of these medicines. The remedy has a cholera toxin resistance and is useful for treating biotoxin type bacterial intestinal infectious diseases such as cholera and traveler's diarrhea.
