<p>A double ended hydraulic actuator (10) having a body (11) with a stepped bore (12). A larger diameter piston (17) is slideable in a large diameter portion (14) of the bore and a smaller diameter piston (16) is slideable in a small diameter portion (13) of the bore. The smaller diameter piston (16) or body (11) carries a limiting means (26) to limit the axially inward movement of the smaller diameter piston (16) into the stepped bore (12).</p> |
