If mounted on a building wall, the rain collector trough (10) has a wall and a fastener for the trough wall to the building wall. Selective holders secure the fastener in its position w.r.t. the trough prior to its final mounting. The trough pref. has a rear wall with a top edge, a front wall with a vertical, edged part, from which extends a horizontal portion. The latter has a rear edge with a sufficient length to link the front and rear edges. A fixed joint extends over the entire length of the link strap and the horizontal portion. USE/ADVANTAGE - For rainwater collecting to a downpipe on a building, with simple assembly and easy cleaning.
