<p>Repointing gun (1) comprises a chamber (3) for grout, etc., and a feed screw (2) for feeding the grout out of a nozzle (8). The gun (1) is hand-held, with a self-contained power supply (23) and reversible drive motor (4) coupled to the feed screw shaft (16) by gears (22). Mixing blades (20) mix the material in the chamber (3) during reverse operation of the drive. During forward drive operation, the grout is forced out of the nozzle (8) by compression blades (21) and feed screw (2). The gun allows for simple, fast and clean grouting of brickwork, etc., with little waste. The gun may be used with any fluent material and in other fields. The power supply (23) and drive (4) could be replaced by power supply lines from a separate source and a mechanical flexible drive, respectively.</p> |
