The vacuum cleaner has a dust chamber (3) with a lid (2) in which a filter tray (4) lies. The tray is lifted in and out by a tilting handle (6). The handle is pivotted on a longitudinal side wall (5) of the tray, or there may be a handle on both sides of the tray. When the lid is closed, the handle protrudes outside the chamber and tilts downwards against the outside wall of the housing. This is the 'rest' position and the hinges are such that in the 'lifting' position, the handle remains horizontal, i.e., cannot tilt further upwards. ADVANTAGE - Handle of filter tray does not get dirty.
