PURPOSE:A traveller for high speed operation in which the end periphery of the metal traveller has U-shaped to reduce the friction coefficient with the ring and lower the wearing of the ring flange, thereby being suitably used in fine spinning frames of high-speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:The end periphery 2 of metal traveller 1 has U-shaped to reduce the friction coefficient between the traveller in use 3 and the ring flange 5 in ring 4 and lower the wearing of the ring flange 5. The material of the traveller is S15CK with Hr 700-800 hardness. The increase of the rotation number in fine spinning frame or of the ring diameter in large package does not cause the increase in yarn break. |
