<p>The invention relates to a new medical use for compounds having selective agonist activity at 5-HT1-like receptors and to pharmaceutical compositions containing them. In particular it relates to a new medical use of 3-[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]-N-methyl-1H-indole-5-methanesulphonamide and physiologically acceptable salts and solvates thereof for the treatment or prevention of elevated intraocular pressure, in particular glaucoma.</p> |
