PURPOSE:To reliably pervent the electric motor driven vehicle from starting during the battery charging by integrally providing a circuit cutout device which is actuated by a plug on the external power source to cut off the electric drive circuit of the drive motor of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 26 is provided with its end extendable from a body 18 of a plug 14 and pressed forward by a spring 27 to the extended position. A conducting plate 28 is attached to the base of said plunger 26, said conducting plate 28 having movable contact point 29 on its both sides. A pair of stational contact points 30 are correspondingly arranged on the body 18 forward of said movable contact points 29 and connected in series between an accelerator switch 13 and a forward-reverse switch 12 in a circuit from a storage battery 2 to solenoids 10 and 11. When a battery charger plug 15 is connected to said plug 14, the movable contact points 29 are seperated from the stational contact points 30 and the solenoids 10 and 11 will not be energized even when the forward-reverse switch 12 and the accelerator 13 are operated thus perventing the vehicle from accidental running. |
