PURPOSE:To provide a highly sensitive thermal recording material imparting a recording image excellent in storage stability, especially, in heat resistance and reduced the lowering of the whiteness of its recording layer even if exposed to a high temp. condition for a long time. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material having a thermal recording layer containing a basic dye and a developer, at least one kind of a diphenol derivative obtained by reacting terpene with a phenol derivative is added as the developer. |
