PURPOSE:To make a transparent state of a recording material stable, by a method wherein a heat-sensitive layer which disperses an organic low-molecular compound and heat stabilizer in a high-molecular resin basic material and changes between transparent condition and opaque condition reversibly with temperature is provided on a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A high-molecular resin basic material such as polyvinyl chloride or a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, an organic low-molecular compound such as oleic acid or erucic acid or dodecanedioic acid and a heat stabilizer such as organic tin are dissolved and a solution is prepared. The solution is applied onto a supporting body such as a synthetic resin sheet or paper and dried through which a heat-sensitive layer is laminated and a reversible heat- sensitive recording material is made. A printed layer 5 to form a reflecting layer, heat-sensitive layer, protective layer and visible record display window 6 is laminated on the surface of the supporting body by making use of the recording material and a card is made. The card can be used as a prepaid card for admission or shopping or rental and an amount of money expended and the balance are displayed visually on the heat-sensitive layer along with a magnetic record every time the same is used. |
