PURPOSE:To provide an image output device and an image forming device capable of outputting geometrical repeated image data efficiently. CONSTITUTION:An image output device can output other image data additionally to a desired position of a fundamental image data. The device also can output the same image repeatedly or can output repeatedly by rotating the image. At a setting section 71, repeating parts of the image, the number of the repetitions or rotations of the image are set. The image read by a reader is stored in a memory 711, a read counter 714 changes the read address of the memory 711 dependent on the set information, so that a desired repeated image or rotated image is outputted to a printer section 715.
