PURPOSE:To provide a seat which can freely be adjusted in height while a man seated on the seat equipped with universal casters remains in the seat, and also can be used as a legless seat. CONSTITUTION:A seat frame 4 is provided on a base board 2 equipped with universal casters 1 via a pantagraph mechanism 3, a legless seat 5 is provided for the seat frame 4 and an adjusting mechanism 6 which can adjust the height of the seat frame 4 for fixing it, between the base board 2 and the pantagraph mechanism 3. A lifting mechanism 7 is provided for the lower surface of the base board 2, a ground lifter 8 is attached to the lifting mechanism 7, and an operating mechanism which enables both the adjusting mechanism 6 and the lifting mechanism 7 to be operated by a man seated on the legless seat 5 while he remains in the seat, is provided at the appropriate place of the legless seat 5. |
