PURPOSE: To improve the hole sensing mechanism used in an LED printer of preceding technique. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for forming a plurality of image exposure frames on a photoconductive member moving in the processing direction of a single path has a photoreceptor belt 17 permitting the formation of the whole number of the image exposure frames and a plurality of linear image printing bars 10A, 12A, 14A, 16A having the central parts of light emitting elements, at least one edge light emitting pixels and first and second detection means. The detection means are equipped with photodetectors 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 54 providing the output signals showing started edge pixels and a precise registering circuit 60 wherein the rear edge of an aligning aperture part coincides with a time. |
