SEWAGE TREATMENT METHOD AND TREATMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To lower the treatment load in a biological treatment process to shorten the biological treatment period and at the same time to lower the energy consumption at the time of the biological treatment and thus to carry out sewage treatment efficiently within a short time by using sewage treatment method and apparatus by which filtration process having a high efficiency of removing fine floating substances in treatment raw water can be carried out stably and continuously for a long duration. CONSTITUTION:A filtration apparatus 23 is installed in the prior stage of a biological treatment apparatus 24 to carry out aerobic biological treatment process or a biological treatment apparatus 24 to carry out anaerobic and aerobic biological treatment, and further in the prior stage of the biological treatment apparatus 24, a floating and separating apparatus 22 is installed wherein the treatment raw water and pressure air dissolving water are mixed to cause fine bubbles to adhere to floating substances in the treatment raw water and the floating substances are floated up due to buoyant force of the fine bubbles and separated by the apparatus and in this way the floating substances are removed.
