<p>PURPOSE: To provide a thrust washer combination transmitting axial thrust given selectively to one of a pair of floating main shaft gears surrounding a main shaft of a transmission by a clutch assembly to the main shaft. CONSTITUTION: This thrust washer combination consists of a first thrust washer 70, a second thrust washer 72, annular hold ring grooves 94, 96 provided on a main shaft adjacent to these washers, hold rings 74, 76 arranged in the grooves, an annular thrust washer groove 92 provided on the main shaft, and a third thrust washer 28 fixed in this washer groove by a key.</p> |
