摘要 |
PURPOSE:To provide the new protease having specific physicochemical properties and having a Mytilus edulis Linne byssus-decomposing ability. CONSTITUTION:The objective protease has e.g. following physicochemical properties; action: has a Mytilus edulis Linne byssus-decomposing ability; substrate specificity: cleaves the bond between the third Asn and the fourth Gln, and the bond between the fourth Gln and the fifth His in a formic peracid-oxidized bovine insulin B chain of the sequence No.1 in the sequence table, and further cleaves the bond between the eighth Thr and the ninth L-dopa, and the bond between the ninth L-dopa and the tenth Lys in the decapeptide of the sequence No.2; optimal pH: 9.5-10; optimal temperature: 50-55 deg.C; optimal NaCl concentration: 5%; mol.wt.: 44000; inhibitor: the enzyme is inhibited with phenylmethanesulfonyl fluoride. The protease is obtained by culturing Alteromonas.peptidysis and separating the protease from the cultured product containing the produced protease. |
