PURPOSE:To provide the catalyst which is produced in a simple process, has high catalytic activity and long catalytic life and produces efficiently arom. hydrocarbon from nonaromatic hydrocarbon and to provide the efficient production method of arom. hydrocarbon from nonaromatic hydrocarbon by using the catalyst. CONSTITUTION:The zeolite is the L-zeolite containing halogen-contained compd. and carrying platinum contained compd, and is the novel L-zeolite having <0.4 peak intensity in the measurement of X ray near adsorption end structure of the carried platinum and having <3% dealminumized amount in the zeolite with respect to total aluminum, and the catalyst for producing arom. compd. which uses the novel zeolite as an essential component and the process which produces efficiently arom. hydrocarbon from various hydrocarbon. |
