PURPOSE:To provide a lime-based hard hydrophobic thin coating material capable of finishing with no unevenness in hue even in the case of a colored coating material and a method for thinly coating the surface of a wall. CONSTITUTION:A base contg. lime cream, a water absorbing material, fine aggregate and a polymer for cement admixture is blended with wax such as a carnauba wax emulsion to obtain the objective lime-based hard hydrophobic thin coating material. The surface of a wall is coated with this coating material and finishing is carried out by grinding with sand paper, etc., after hardening so that the wax is exuded or the coated surface. |
