PURPOSE:To enable to realize the bar graph display, by using minimized video element memory, through the formation of the display pattern only required for the bar graph requested and write-in to the video element memory in the order of pattern. CONSTITUTION:The display pattern corresponding to the width of the bar of parameter is formed. This pattern is written in the video element memory 3 in the order of pattern. The number of elements of the fundamental part of the bar and the number of dots of the tip are obtained from the value of the data of the bar to be displayed. Next, the display pattern stored in the memory 3 is selected, and the corresponding code of the memory 3 is written in the refresh memory 4 together with the display location. Further, the display pattern of the fundamental part formed in advance by the number of video elements for the fundamental part is selected and written in the memory 4 with the corresponding code of the memory 3 with the display location. Next, the display control circuit 6 reads out the pattern from the memory 4 in the order of display code, and the display pattern stored in the memory 3 is displayed on CRT7, to display the bar graph. |
