CONSTITUTION:Parcels 1 each applied with a shipping slip 1a written with the zip code and address of an addressee are conveyed on a conveyance path 3 one by one, the conveyed parcels 1 are aligned in the fixed direction, the color images of the whole upper faces of the parcels 1 aligned and conveyed on the conveyance path 3 are read out, the writing direction of the zip code and address of the addressee in the shipping slip 1a on the parcel 1 is detected by the read color image, and the conveyance direction of the parcel 1 conveyed on the conveyance path 3 is changed according to the detected result. |
